Women get their Thiru Mangalyam also called Mangalsutra in Hindi (Sacred thread/Necklace of love and goodwill) tied again on this auspicious occasion. Devotees also enjoy eating the temple’s lavishly prepared delicious, ceremonial vegetarian feast.
